Cosmic Seed – (Wa & En) is a public commissioned community made sculpture commemorating the mountain village of Misato, Japan. Hand formed concreted encircled with river rocks that were painted by the public participants.
On this adventure, large sheets of cotton cloth were painted on by groups of little artists at a local kindergartner. The Children’s paintings were then stretched onto 4-meter columns and illuminated from the inside for a Summer Festival in Japan.

For this Kids Club art session, we challenge a group of 1st graders at the Koisei elementary school to draw Chris. Kurisu Desu (this is Chris). What a laugh we all had!
For the physically and mentally challenged, a blank white canvass can be a little scary. So for this session of community arts support, we had the residents of Hisei-Yama paint on yellow canvases. Yellow is Happy faces!
PAINTED DREAM CATCHER - Children's Summer Festival
Commissioned for a summer festival in Japan. xenovision incorporated the artwork created by a group of 56 elementary schools and 22 kindergarten children that were asked to paint their dreams on seven 10-meter x 1.5-meter cotton sheets. Their group paintings were then stretched over a large metal framework in the shape of a 3-dimensional Dream Catcher and illuminated with an energy-efficient lighting system.
