Cosmic Seed - Wa & En, is a public commissioned park sculpture commemorating the village of Misato in Mei-prefecture, Japan. Hand formed concreted encircled with river rocks that were painted by the public participants.
Wa (和) is a Japanese cultural concept that refers to harmony & peaceful unity within a social group where the priorities of the whole community stand above individual interests.
En (円) is a circular or round object and depending on the context of the sentence, it may also mean a blood relationship, connection, or tie.
