Inspired by the music from the album - Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. This series I call, Indigo Blue is created from high-fired Kyoto porcelain mixed with Toku Jo-Shigaraki stoneware with incised designs. Cobalt oxide stained under a dry satin matt clear glaze fired to 1330˚C. oxidation. Exhibited at Gallery Midori in Mashiko, Japan.
