Guinomi is the Japanese word for a small cup for drinking sake or may be used as a shot glass used to enjoy your favorite spirits. This one-of-a-kind ceramic art piece was created in Prague and is made from a fine white stoneware from Germany. Thrown on an electric wheel, finger indentation and then meticulously trimmed and the outside is facet cut by the artist’s hand. High fired in an electric kiln to 1280 c. with a titanium micro-crystal glaze with splashes cobalt oxides. Colors are a soft wash of cobalt blue with a Tamashi (spirit egg) scribed in deep cobalt blue on the inside.
